KYLIE will be taking her Driver's License test in the next couple of weeks. She finished testing for Running Start at Lower Columbia College, and will participate in that program over the next two years while taking a couple of online classes at Three Rivers Christian.
KARA is busy with the tennis team....practicing two hours a day and getting ready to start playing matches soon. She continues to perform with the Eagle's Wings music group at school.
KELSEA had fun during Spirit Week at school. Crazy Hair Day and 80's Day were her favorites.
KIAN has been riding his new bike around the house for weeks. This weekend he'll attempt to ride sans training wheels. He had his yearly doctor check-up and weighed in at 28 lbs. - still way under the bottom line of the growth chart, but his height and weight curve remain parallel, so the doctor isn't concerned. Of course she doesn't have to try and dress him......I bought him a pair of 3T p.j.'s last week and the bottoms fell right off. Can't wait for shorts season so I can buy toddler sizes without worrying about the length. He received referrals for the dermatologist (he's had an unidentifiable rash on his arm for 4 years that the doctor finally decided to have checked out), the eye doctor (for his strabismus), and the neurodevelopmental specialist (to check for cognitive issues in relation to his learning and speech delay). I'm meeting with his Kindergarten teacher on Tuesday to discuss his progress and maybe make a decision about whether he'll move on to 1st grade or not in the fall.
