With Father's Day approaching this Sunday, it seems appropriate to express thanks to the fathers in my life for all they have blessed me with this last year.
To my Dad:
THANK YOU for every toilet you installed, every garden you planted, every tree you trimmed, every pool you inflated, every prayer you prayed, every child you entertained, and every joke you made that none of us understood but made us laugh anyway. And THANK YOU for making me proud to call you my dad.
To my Husband:
THANK YOU for every morning you drove Kylie to school, every night you brushed Kian's teeth, every boring board game you played with Kelsea so I wouldn't lose my mind, and every backyard volleyball practice with Kara. And THANK YOU for making my kids proud to call you their dad.
