You may have noticed a lack of "mosquito bite" postings recently. Truth is, I was getting kind of stressed out trying to make a difference every single day. Who knew how hard it would be? So I've put on my realistic hat and decided that trying to make a difference at least once a week would be sufficient. So, today I held a fundraiser for Haiti at our church with the help of my 5th and 6th grade Sunday School class. We sold donuts, coffee, and t-shirts, and raised around $650 for Haiti relief efforts. Lots of fun and the kids enjoyed being able to make a difference, no matter how small.
